Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use pokemonapexarena.com and the Pokémon Apex Arena game (“the game”). By playing, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

1. A free fan project

The game is free and non-commercial. Pokémon and all related names, characters and artwork are trademarks and © of Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK and The Pokémon Company. The game is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. Donations are voluntary, help cover server costs and never unlock anything in the game.

2. Your profile

• You can play as a guest or sign in with Discord. Keep your recovery code safe: anyone who has it can take over a guest profile.
• You are responsible for activity on your profile. Tell us if you think someone else has accessed it.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to sign in with Discord or to play online.

3. Fair play

Do not:

• cheat, use bots or scripts, tamper with battle data, or exploit bugs to gain rank, rating, XP or badges;
• use extra accounts to boost your own ranking or to lower someone else's;
• disrupt online matches, overload the servers, or try to get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours;
• pretend to be staff, the developer, Nintendo or any other person or organisation.

If you find a security issue, please report it privately to [email protected]. Do not exploit it.

4. Names, social links and feedback

Trainer names and social links are public. Do not use names or links that are hateful, harassing, sexual, illegal, misleading or that infringe someone else's rights. We may rename, hide or remove content that breaks these rules. Feedback you send can be used to improve the game without any obligation to you.

5. Enforcement

To protect the game and its players, we may remove results, reset ratings or badges, or suspend or delete profiles that break these terms. We do this at our discretion, and usually without notice when cheating is clear.

6. Availability and changes

The game is provided as-is, and we may change, pause or shut it down at any time, including leaderboards and saved progress. We will try to give notice of major changes, but can't promise to.

7. No warranty and limited liability

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or progress. Because the game is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero. Some places don't allow these limits, and in that case they apply as far as the law permits.

8. Other sites

Links to Discord, YouTube, Ko-fi, X and other sites are provided for convenience. Those sites have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to play means you accept it.
